The Friends of The Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by volunteers. Friends are residents of The Chathams who are advocates of The Library. After expenses 100% of the money raised goes back into The Library. Friends finance aspects of what is not covered in the Library budget.

Join The Friends today with your tax deductible contribution. Chatham residents will receive an invitation to our “Friends Members Only” Book Sale Preview. By providing your email address you will receive our monthly newsletter, Bookends, as well as notifications of Library Programs and Events. The Friends and The Library will never share your personal information.
Are you looking to get involved with a local philanthropy? Volunteers are always being sought after to work with The Friends. There are many ways the community can get involved, particularly during the busy months of January and February when we are busily preparing for our biggest fund raiser of the year…The Annual Book Sale in March.
