Teen Mural Project

Attention young artists! Have you ever dreamed of creating art on a large scale? Here is your chance! Come to the library and paint a mural on a wall in one of our large meeting rooms.

We will provide:  the wall and materials. All you have to bring is your imagination and artistic skills. There are no rules regarding the subject or style of your painting. However, bear in mind that the room, as well as the entire library building, is a space for all ages, including children.

The library reserves the right to approve or deny any project at its discretion.

Artists may have an opening reception/unveiling with family, friends, and members of the public. The mural will remain on the wall for at least three months. At the end of its display period, it will be digitized and cleared from the wall to make room for the next project. The library will maintain a digital archive of murals.
