Teen Mural Project

Attention young artists! Would you like to see your work on display at the library? Here is your chance! Come to the library and paint a 16in x 16in canvas that will be displayed with others on a wall in one of our large meeting rooms.

We will provide:  Canvases and materials (if you want to do your painting at the library). All you have to bring is your imagination and artistic skills. You may also choose to bring the canvas home and use your own art supplies.

Bear in mind that the room, as well as the entire library building, is a space for all ages, including children. The library reserves the right to approve or deny any project at its discretion. The library will maintain a digital archive of all paintings.

Open to Grades 6-12. Preference will be given to Chatham residents. You will be required to give the library permission to publish your work in our digital and print publications, along with your name.

You may use more than one canvas. Team/collective projects are welcome.
