Tails and Tales – Summer Reading Programs

This year’s Summer Reading Program theme is Tails and Tales!

We have programs for children, teens, and adults beginning on Monday, June 21  let your imagination run wild with us all summer long!

Join us on Monday, June 21 at 6 pm and kick off this year’s Summer Reading Program in person with a petting zoo! Mountainside Stables will be bringing their animals to the library lawn. Come see an alpaca, goats, sheep, lambs, mini donkey, baby calf, and rabbits!

Children’s Summer Reading Club

Chatham kids ages 12 & younger – Instead of our usual in-person program, we will be using an online platform that allows you to enter the books you read directly into an app or on your computer.  Starting Monday, June 21, you will be able to earn points for reading books and doing fun missions.  This program ends on August 12.

Adult Summer Reading Club

Chatham residents age 18 and up – Tell us about the books you read this summer and you could win one of our great prizes! Your reviews should include a brief summary of the plot and why you did or didn’t like the book. Each review you write gets you one drawing entry to win one of the grand prizes that will be awarded at the end of July and August.  The more you read, the more entries you have for the drawings!  This program will end on August 31.
