What are the ACC programs, and what do they do?

Photoshop – Best for: Photo editing & digital imaging
Use it to:

Create digital artwork and graphics
Remove or replace backgrounds
Design web graphics, social media posts, and mockups
Think: pixel-based editing (raster images)

Illustrator – Best for: Logos & scalable graphics

Design graphics that scale without losing quality
Produce typography-based designs
Think: vector graphics (clean lines, infinitely scalable)

InDesign – Best for: Page layout & publishing
Use it to:

Design brochures, flyers, magazines, and books

Premiere Pro – Best for: Video editing
Use it to:

Edit video clips into a finished production

Accessing Udemy

From the library’s public PCs:

Locate the icon on the desktop that says “Udemy Database” and double click it.
On the Udemy page, click the “Sign In / Create a Udemy Account” button.
On the next screen, you can either enter your credentials to sign in, or if you need to create an account, scroll to the bottom, look for “Don’t have an account? Sign up” and click on “Sign up”. Follow the prompts to create your account and once complete, you should end up back in Udemy and be able to search for the courses you are interested in.

From Home:

There are many courses in Udemy on the Adobe Creative Cloud software. Try searching simply for “Adobe Creative Cloud” or, if you’d like to be more specific, search for the program you’d like to learn more about – Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
