Program Proposals

If you have an idea for a program or presenter, or if you are a presenter and would like to offer a program at Library of the Chathams, submit your idea here.

Things to know: Programs are selected for their quality, the expertise and experience of presenters/performers, and the overall fit with wider programming directions and community needs. Our programs are usually planned at least 2 months in advance to allow for adequate organization and publicizing. Due to the high number of proposals received, we can only respond to those where we see a programming opportunity.

If you are a program presenter, provide your proposal information in the form. You will be contacted if there is interest in your proposed program, and we will keep your information on file for future reference.

If you are a patron, and you have an idea for a program you’d like to see at the library, let us know in the form. Know of a great program idea out there for preschoolers? Let us know! Is there a civic group that might have valuable programming ideas for the public library to know about? Please help us make connections. We are happy to take general program suggestions, as well as recommendations for specific presenters.
