Layered Apple Cake
Equipment

- electric mixer
- cake pan
Ingredients
- 3 large apples- slice thin
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tsp sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- *1 1/2 cups sugar
- *4 large eggs
- *1 cup oil
- *1/2 cup orange juice
- *2 tsp vanilla extract (can include lemon and/ or almond extract)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, 3 teaspoons sugar and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and set aside.
- Mix 5* ingredients together in the mixer bowl at low/medium speed.
- Gradually add flour mix.
- Layer as follows: place approximately a third of the cake mix layer in pan, add some apples, repeat.
- Bake at 350°F for approximately 1 hour.
- Enoy!
