August 30, 2022 – Everyone loves a good day down the shore, right? August 30 is National Beach Day! This holiday reminds us of the beauty of beaches while also reminding us to keep them clean and safe.
Hermie is in Wildwood today with his new friend Sunny and they want to share how you can help! After enjoying the beach, make sure you leave nothing behind so our animal friends don’t eat or get tangled and trapped in trash, on land and in the water. Swim, dive, surf, and play! Just remember to do your part to protect one of our most cherished natural resources — our beaches. And always wear sunscreen!
