The Same Principle Lives in Us: People of African Descent in the American Revolution

American Revolutionaries struggled with a question: would the words of the Declaration of Independence, “all men are created equal,” apply to all people?  People of African descent asked this question, also.  A speaker from the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will present the stories of these African Americans to help us better understand what the Revolution was like for them.  Please join us for a zoom presentation on Wednesday, February 17 at 7 pm.
