National Alliance on Mental Illness: In Our Own Voice
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: Library of The Chathams
214 Main Street, Chatham, 07928
Presented by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), this program aims to change stereotypes about people with mental health conditions. Presenters with personal experience of mental illness will talk openly about what it’s like to live with a mental health condition. Their goal is to humanize the misunderstood, highly-stigmatized topic of mental illness by showing that it’s possible—and common—to live well with a mental health condition. Please join us for this important program.
