Joel Farkas, volunteer docent at Washington’s Headquarters in Morristown, will speak about Morristown during the Revolutionary War and its connection to George Washington. Joel will explain why Washington chose Morristown twice for his winter encampments and will discuss inoculations and smallpox, Arnold’s Tavern, the Morristown Green, the Presbyterian Church cemetery, Washington’s connection with Alexander Hamilton, the Ford mansion, the winter at Jockey Hollow, and an attempted kidnapping of George Washington, Please join us for this intriguing virtual presentation on Thursday, February 11 at 7 pm.
