Do you feel bamboozled by the clues in a crossword? Would you like to be able to solve the New York Times Crossword like a champ?  Join Deb Amlen, the head writer and senior editor of “Wordplay,” The New York Times’s crossword humor column, as she spills the secrets to successful solving. Ms. Amlen believes that everyone can solve crosswords and, by the time you leave, you will understand why millions of people are addicted to writing letters into those squares.

A lively and engaging lecturer, Deb Amlen is the columnist and senior editor of “Wordplay,” the crossword column of The New York Times.  She has been making people laugh and learn things they didn’t think they needed to know since 2011.  Ms. Amlen has also been a senior columnist for David Pogue’s Yahoo!
