Chatham Adult Lifeworks Learning (CALL)—The Origins, Strategies and Outcomes of the Second World War

Arnold M. Goldstein, Ph.D., an Adjunct Professor at NJIT, will present a four-part series of lectures on the Second World War focusing on historical, political, geographical, and technological factors and their effect on the war and its outcomes. This series of lectures will cover the events that led to the rise of totalitarian governments in Germany, Italy, Japan and the Soviet Union in the aftermath of the First World War and the Great Depression of the 1930’s.  The lectures will be held Tuesdays, September 12, 19, & 26; and October 3 from 11 am to 12:15 pm. A $40 fee for this series is required payable to the Friends of the Library by September 8.
