Culinary Adventure Around the World: Ireland

You will take a short walk through the country of Ireland and learn how to make delicious Irish soda bread, a classic that is baked in abundance in the weeks and days leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. KOOV Coding Classes

Grades 3 to 5

Chatham Middle School 8th grader Manaal Qureshi will teach children how to code using our new Sony KOOV coding blocks.  Young innovators will use their imagination to build and program vehicles, cameras, animals, etc. and bring them to life with the help of sensors.  They will learn skills that they will ultimately use to create and code their own robots.  This series of 8 classes starts on March 6 and continues through May 1 (no class on April 10).

Author Visit: Virtuous Cornwall

Local author Virtuous Nyamesem Cornwall will read her book Finding Little Doggins, an educational story about the importance of learning about the town you live in and the value of communication. This story encourages children and parents to discuss and put in place a plan of action in case someone gets lost.
