Chess for Kids Group 1
Chess Expert Sean Finn will teach this class virtually via Zoom. Students will learn game strategy, basic checkmates, new tactical patterns, and the best questions to ask themselves when evaluating a position and creating a plan. Using a combination of the best online chess platforms available, classes will include puzzle solving, game analysis and of course a chance to play. Dates: Mondays, January 11, 18, 25; February 1, 8, 22 (no class on February 15).
Group 1 is for players who know how pieces move. Suggested ages: 6 to 8. Limit: 12 students
