Tuesdays, May 28; June 4, 11 & 18 – 10:30 am to 12 pm

Barry Wiesenfeld, a musician, published author, and faculty member of SUNY and Ramapo College, will present this four-part series designed to give participants a deeper understanding of music.  We will touch on music history, theory and milestones of the different eras and composers who made their mark.   While primarily focused on classical music, there is a significant element of jazz in the program as well, and interestingly, the parallels that exist in the two styles – a topic not often explored.  A fee of $40 will be charged for the series.  Sign up at the library or call 973-635-0603.
