Coding for Kids: JavaScript

Ages 10 to 14

Limit: 10 students     Registration opens Monday, July 1

Register only if you can attend all 3 classes

JavaScript was created to “make web pages alive.” In this interactive class you will learn concepts and fundamentals of this powerful language. Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is required.

Teen Painting Night: A Taste of Summer

Ages 13 & Up

Limit: 10 students     Registration opens Tuesday, July 2

Create an acrylic painting of a summer favorite with the guidance of artist Erica Pizza. She is a mixed media artist whose work can be seen in galleries around New Jersey. All materials will be provided. Please wear clothes for painting or bring a smock.

College Essay Workshop with Alisha Davlin

Wednesdays, July 10, 17 & 24 – 3 to 5 pm

For students entering Grade 12.  Grade 11 students will be accepted only if space permits

Attendance at 3 classes required

Registration opens Wednesday, June 26                 Limit:  12 students

Brainstorm, draft and complete the Common Application Personal Statement.  As a former admissions essays reader, Ms. Davlin knows what makes for a competitive college essay.  You want the reader to connect with your voice, to know you, and most importantly – to remember you.  This course offers you the chance to improve your essay writing so you can stand out from the crowd.
