Art Exhibits
The library offers different art exhibits throughout the year in the Lundt Meeting Room. Check the Events Calendar for opening receptions sponsored by Friends of the Library. There is no exhibit in March due to the annual Book Sale.
Most of the artwork exhibited is for sale, and a percentage of each sale benefits the library. Price lists are available.
September Exhibit
Joanne Leone is an award-winning painter, collage and assemblage artist and an arts educator. She is a proud native of Newark, NJ, a graduate of Newark Arts High which cultivated her love for the arts. Although Joanne recently retired after thirty years as a visual art teacher in the Newark Public Schools, she has always been a practicing artist. Her solo work has been exhibited throughout Rutgers University and the New York metro area.
A reception for the artist, sponsored by Friends of the Library, will be held on Sunday, September 13 from 2:15 to 4 pm. Everyone is invited to attend.
