The American Library Association issued a press release concerning the proposed federal budget as it impacts libraries at http://www.ala.org/news/press-releases/2017/03/president-s-budget-proposal-eliminate-federal-library-funding

Why should we care about the consequences of this this possible loss of federal funding?

Because:

• We use interlibrary delivery service funded with this money;
• We use website hosting services funded with this money;
• We use databases for patrons funded with this money;
• We use services for the blind and disabled funded with this money;
